Beginner Level 2 is for pianists who have been learning for just a little while. May also be ideal for those who are new to the piano but have some experience of reading music notation from playing another instrument. Pieces are mostly in Middle C position with no sharps or flats.

Beginner Level 3 is for pianists who have been learning for some time, and are getting towards ABRSM Initial Grade standard (or equivalent). Pieces are mostly in 5-finger positions, but thumbs may be on notes other than Middle C. There may be a few sharps or flats.
